What you might be interested in about our methodology

Included in the statistics are the wages offered, as stated by employers in advertisements on job portals operated by Alma Career in Slovakia (Profesia.sk, Pracazarohom.sk) and in the Czech Republic (Jobs.cz, Prace.cz, Atmoskop.cz, Pracezarohem. cz).
Since one offer can be published on several portals at the same time, we work with it only once so as not to influence the sample. For similar reasons, we do not consider job offers from recruitment agencies. We do not work with offers for part-time jobs or for self-employed people.
For the Czech Republic, the listed salaries, which are not published, are also included in the calculations.

In the job advertisement, it is possible to indicate the offered salary in the interval from - to. Therefore, our outputs separately evaluate the values ​​for Salary from, Salary to, and then its mean value is also added.
When calculating Salary to, 2.5% of the highest reported salaries are removed to avoid distortion of the results.
The results are published when we have at least 5 input data for the selected sample.

Half-yearly data are included in the calculations.
We update the data every day, usually around 9:00 a.m.

Since the input data for Advertised wages are offers advertised on job portals, we use their list of job positions.
The list of positions for Slovakia and the Czech Republic is therefore different. In the same way, the position index differs from the positions used in the Payroll service, even though there is a relatively large gap between them.
